Milntown Cafe Celebrates 10 years

Wed, 12 Feb 2020

At 10.00am on the 12th February 2010, Milntown Cafe opened its doors to the Public, this makes the Cafe 10 years old.

The Milntown Estate in Ramsey was inaccessible to the pubic for many years until the Estate Trustees embarked on ambitious plans to re-open to the public. Milntown was the seat of the Christian Family for 600 years and was where Illiam Dhone- William Christian- spent his childhood.

Milntown was owned by Sir Clive Edwards who died in 1999, leaving the Estate in trust to allow his friend Bob Thomas to remain living there. After his death in 2003 Milntown was run as a charitable trust.

Milntown has gone from strength to strength since its opening in 2010, and we would like to say a massive thank you to all of our customers for their support over the 10 years and we hope you contine to support us over the coming years!
